Why are TribeVita prices higher than other templates online? BC pre-integration is the main reason our prices are different from other template offerings as more labor is involved. As an example, you could purchase a great premium template with wonderful design and solid code from ThemeForest for around $25. It comes with all the PSD files, HTML, and CSS you could hope for. However, you need to integrate these templates into the Adobe BC platform. To do it right takes experience, talent, skills, and various considerations.

What kinds of elements are ready? TribeVita Templates come pre-integrated into BC with a lot of elements. A typical integration project in BC would require set up of dynamic menus, core template architecture, content holders and all the popular modules such as: blog, marketing opt-in fields for newsletters, HTML Email template, web forms with workflow, news & announcements area, ad rotators, and simple web apps. With our TribeVita Templates, most of these elements are pre-integrated and Ready-to-Go.

Who designs TribeVita Templates? SimpleFlame has a team of talented web designers packed with a lot of experience. Color theory, typography, negative space, grids, usability, critical paths, intuitive flow, design trends, and a good eye are just a few of topics/skills we challenge ourselves with on a daily basis for all projects. We don't view templates as secondary to large or custom projects. Our team believes that every project, no matter how simple or small, should have great design.

Design Budget. The alternative to using templates is designing projects from scratch. We know this process well and it is very time consuming. In fact, we go through standard design process for every template that is designed for TribeVita. We pick a company type, perform research, create a brand, strategize around BC functionality, create wireframes, and finally design Photoshop concepts. No shortcuts. However, by providing templates to a wide audience, we get to leverage a volume scale and that is why we can provide high quality design for a fair cost. You save time and money. It's a win-win for all.

Creative Assets. Photoshop source files are provided with all of our TribeVita Templates. This makes re-skinning, customization, updates and re-engineering of our templates possible. Like everything else, we pay attention to details and want the experience of working with our assets to be pleasurable. All of our PSD files have carefully organized and labeled layers.

Integrated Correctly! So what exactly does that mean? It means that each feature has been thought out and integrated into the proper Business Catalyst functionality. For example, if you see a menu on any of our templates, it will be managed by a dynamic menu. Most integrators merely take a menu structure and throw it into a content holder (yet another BC feature) and leave it up to the client to "figure it out". Our mission is not accomplished unless anyone with basic skills can manage the site easily and effectively.

Solid Code. Before we begin creating the template within Business Catalyst, we first cut the website into XHTML/CSS (and in some cases HTML5) code. Then, and only then, does the integraton begin. If you don't start with a solid code base before integrating your project into BC, you better be prepared for a lot of support.

SEO Optimized, out of the box. We believe that there are three fundamental components to solid SEO. Semantic code, keyword rich content and a social influence. We don't provide support for writing good content and creating social influence, but a solid foundation of code increases the effectiveness of search engine rankings. We do it by marking up the template with solid, semantic code that properly describes the context and prominence of your content. Long story short, we won't use divs in place of h2 tags... ever.

Design is set. Designing, prototyping, and/or customizing interface templates take time. BC Experts have already solved special considerations for the most commonly used modules, layouts, navigations, and structure within BC.

Core architecture is set. The key to managing any CMS website is only as good as the integration quality and template structure. Managing templates, content holders, navigations, and modules is what it’s all about. If the core setup isn't right, be prepared to provide more support than you have to. If the core setup is good to go, content and product entry is a breeze.

Re-skinning takes less time than a scratch setup. The power of TribeVita Templates is the flexible nature of our designs. By quickly changing the logo, overall colors, imagery, and other minor details, the end result can be a semi custom look and feel without the time and resources. Content/Product Entry is the final step. As soon as the re-skinning process is complete, fulfilling the website with content is the last step. InContext Editing, WYSIWYG editing capabilities, and the overall CMS BC platform allow content to be easily managed.
